Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
divorce/child custody
If a judge has ruled you must pay for ex-wifes air fares to visit child(husband has had custody 10yrs) and for husband to pay her court costs, will that judgement follow husband to another state. Wife lost custody because of drug/alcohol use and endangering 18mo. old child. This was inGa. Wife lives in Texas. Husband lives in Georgia. Judge lets maternal grandparents have visitation in lieu of wife when she does not come to Ga. Ga. law does not give grandparents rights(as I understand it) Thank You.

Re: divorce/child custody
As a general rule, states will follow the judgments of other states.
