Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
Earlier this year I resided in a rental property. After falling on the property, the medical bills caused me to be late w/rent, but the landlord always accepted and I paid the late fees each month. In my lease was a 60 day termination clause on either part. After receiving a demand letter to vacate, it was exactly 60 days before I received a dispossessory notice, so I thought she was honoring the lease. I missed court while looking for a new residence, and she received a default judgement for rent I had already paid( i kept the receipts) and I agreed for her to keep the security deposit. What would be my best course of action to resolve this before th eend of the year?

It's your fault for not keeping up with court dates and choosing not to go. Once you lose, you lose. Absent having grounds for an appeal (there is a 30 day deadline on that), you have asked your question too late.
