earnest money

i have a offer to purchase agreement on house. i gave earnest money. told agent i wouldnt be able to get house. (still have paperwork on house) now there is another contract on house. am i allowed my earnest money back?

No one here can guess the terms of your contract, circumstances of you not purchasing, or whether the seller was damaged.
