Easement

The neighbor has an easement to use well on our property. The meter to well has been cut off since Jan. 1998 recorded in our electric co. office. Has the statute of limitations run out and can we get it removed from the deed and property record in courthouse?

This depends on the way the easement was created. You should have an attorney examine the documents and give you advice on how to proceed.

It depends on several things, one of which is whether the easement was in writing and/or filed. Consult with a local attorney to review the whole situation.
