Entitlement of Escrow Funds

When the person who has mortgage loan is different than the person paying the mortgage, which person is entitled to escrow funds?

There is no hard and fast rule about this because the person who is not making mortgage payments may have made contributions to the property so as to entitle him/her to participate in the escrow. Consult with a local attorney.
