Errors on Settlement Statement

I closed on my refinance mortgage over 3 months ago. The settlement agent called me today and said that the broker who brokered my loan is bugging them because they have not receive there fees. The attorney is indicating that I may have to pay additional fees due to errors in the settlement statement. Who's liable for errors on the settlement statement?

Do your closing documents contain a statement that the parties will cooperate in the correction of any errors? Usually it is on a "page 3" of the HUD-1 or on a page entitled "Acknowledgement and Receipt of Settlement Statement." The language of what you signed will control.
