can i file a lien after 2 yrs? have sent cert.mail nothing sience then.
they have fialed to attempt any payment.i paid bills that wern't paid before i moved in.spent my money and she did not pay for work from plummers etc. that had to come. i paid them.i have documatation for all service. close to $8000.
i knew nothing of liens or ever had this situation happen taking all my savings. i was just recantly told i could and have no idea what fomrs to get.

You missed your deadline to file a lien. You MAY possibly have the right simply to sue with no lien.
Under state law, the lien must be filed within three (3) months of the last time the person or entity claiming the lien worked on the property or within three (3) of the last time materials were delivered to or installed upon the property. OCGA Section 44-14-361.1(a)(2). At the time of filing for record of his claim of lien, the lien claimant shall send a copy of the claim of lien by registered or certified mail to the owner of the property or the contractor, as the agent of the owner.
Your post makes no sense. How are we supposed to know who "they" and "she" are, what "they" or "she" did, or any other facts about the situation. Post again, and include coherent facts.
