Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Forclosure Records

I am trying to find out about forclosed home. I know that the Superior Court for my city has an office of real estate records, and you can get them for $.25 each. I'm wondering if this is what I am looking for and if it is that easy to find out about forclosed homes. I was advised by the gov't site to ask a lawyer about concerns or questions. Thanks.

Re: Forclosure Records

Well, there are about 3 or 4 major Georgia Firms that sell forclosures on a systematic basis. The firm I work with (and keep their Web Portal) is www.swertfeger.net Our foreclosures are posted there for each upcoming month. McCalla, Raymer sells more than any firm in GA. There web address is www.foreclosurehotline.com Morris & Snyder sell also. From memory, I think their web address is www.msplaw.com There is also the GA foreclosure report for sale that is about $600 to $800 year. FCDR now has a reporter. John Adams teaches foreclosure seminars about every 3 months in Atlanta for about $300 per seminar. The info is out there and not too difficult to find. Hugh Wood
