Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
foreclosures
i had 2 investment properties foreclosure in ga in 2003. The mortgages continue to be sold to other mortgage companies. I have since bought a house and had another house refinanced. I have just discovered the properties were put back on my credit report in May. Originally the were on my credit report due to come off in February 2009. It seems that they disappear for years at a time and then pop back up. I did not file backruptcy at the time because I was able to maintain everything but the properties. I thought foreclosure may have been the least of the two evils. It this legal? Do I have any legal recourse? Can they put it on my credit report 6 years later and can they start calling me again?
