Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

my friend left her ear rings at my house and i tried to get her to come pick them up not long after she left them but she never came an now she has waites 30 days to try and pick them up and i lost them so she said she was going to file a police report do i have anything to worry about?

If the police believe you took them rather than lost them you'll need a criminal lawyer for a theft case.
