we gave an easement on our road for our neighbor. Does this mean anyone can drive down our road?

I don't know. You actually do. Easements must be in writing. You have the document. Read it. Your lawyer (you did use one I hope?) would have put in provisions about the scope of use. If you did not use counsel, you probably put no such restrictions and then the answer is anyone can use it. (The lesson learned is that you ALWAYS need lawyers for legal situations.)
