Georgia law requires corporations to appear through a lawyer.
No, corporations are not allowed to act pro se (unless the officer answering is a lawyer). If a company does attempt this, plaintiff's lawyer should be able to file an appropriate motion to strike and disallow the answer, and the person signing the pleadings can face criminal prosecution for the practice of law without a license.
