Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

harassment

My wife signed a lease/purchase on a home owned by a "friend" turned "landlord". I did not sign the contract. It is only in my wife's name. After 3 months of uncertainty of purchasing from the landlord due to multiple issues, we decided it was best to move out. I am in the military. The landlord has called my unit and made my work place difficult. Is there any legal action I can take against her for causing such harassment?

Re: harassment

You can file a petition in the Superior Court of the county of the landlord's residence asking the judge for a restraining order as well as damages for your being harassed for someone else's debt.
