Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Hi,

I have a piece of land in Arkansas and I live in Atlanta GA. I am not there to see to the land continuously. Therefore I am afraid of it being taken by adverse possession by the neighboring owners. I have found out who the neighbors are by researching courthouse records. I have also researched where sending the neighbors a letter acknowledging that I am the owner and giving them permission to use the land but removable at any time is sufficient to break any statutory period. However most of my research states that the "trespasser" must acknowledge. Would sending them a certified letter return receipt suffice for acknowledgement?
