Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

hoa dues public listing homeowners in default

is it legal for hoa presidents/assistants to make a list of homeowners who are in default/late with hoa payment/s and place the list in everyones in the subdivisons mail box without consent of the property management company or homeowner-- this happen to me and i wasn't in default it was a typing error-miscommuncation. This list is attached to a monthly hoa news letter from hoa president in subdivison use to embarrass those who are not paying-without knowing if the information is true. can i sue... do i have a case?

If you are interested in preserving your reputation, you could ask the hoa to print a retraction in very large type in a future newsletter.
