Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
Home lease eviction
My girlfriend and her mom were in a financial bind a while back of losing their home. They found someone to buy the house and lease it to them. Now he is trying to kick them out of the house. He says the house is too cluttered on the inside (which is is) but the house was in this condition when he got into this deal. He bought the house as it was. They have been to court and a judge has ruled in favor of the landlord. I find this to be questionable. As far as I know they have been paying the lease and the sole reason behind this is the clutter in the house. Can you really be thrown out of a home lease for having too much stuff inside the house?

Re: Home lease eviction
Possibly. It depends on the terms of the lease. Keep in mind that they probably can appeal the decision within seven days.
