Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
Home-Inspection and Right to terminate
I signed an agreement to buy a residential property (Single Family Home) in Georgia. The property is being ''Sold with Right to Request Repairs''.
On Home inspection the inspector noted few rotten window sils, damaged window hermetic seals and a damaged glass.
If the seller refuses to repair the above issues , can I terminate the agreement?

Re: Home-Inspection and Right to terminate
Probably not, although it depends on the language of the agreement. More likely, you will have a breach of contract claim for failure to make the repairs.

Re: Home-Inspection and Right to terminate
You should consult with a local real estate attorney who can review the whole contract to see what your rights are.
