Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

My husband got a divorce in April of 2006. His ex wife left the house and has not been heard from since their divorce. My husband now wishes to sell the house, but his ex wife is also listed on the deed as owner. His divorce papers do say that there is "no property to be divided". How can he remove her name from the deed when he does not know where she is?

You are saying that your husband comitted a crime, perjury, as he was required to disclose the property in his divorce and a court then would have dealt with it.

To go into court now, he would have to admit to a felony. He needs an attorney as he is in serious trouble. He also may have a malpractce case against the lawyer that represented him.
