Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Land Deed

My single father, my brother and his wife live on my father--name removed--land. My father signed his property deed over to my brother. Now they are arguing and my father has requested that my brother sign the deed back over to him. My brother is refusing to do so and is insisting that he and his wife continue to live there. My father feels that he has been taken advantage of and is being pushed around by my brother and his wife. My father cannot read well, cannot manage money, and would be considered vulnerable. There was an understanding that my brother and his wife were moving to my father--name removed--to care for him but has caused him much stress with constant yelling, cursing, threats, and spending of his money. Is there a way to get the last signing of the deed over to my brother revoked/annuled? Is there any action my sister and I can take to help my father regain control of his property and his life?

Re: Land Deed

Based on what you have stated, the odds are against your father. A deed is presumed valid unless there was fraud, deceit or coercion. You should consult with a local attorney who can review the whole situation.
