Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
Landlord breaking a month-to-month lease
Tenant's long term lease was up in August 2003. He has been on a month-to-month lease since that time. Property was put on market in August and tenant was notified he would be on a week-to-week lease. The property is now under contract and scheulded to close November 8. How much notice is landlord required to give tenant to vacate property?

Re: Landlord breaking a month-to-month lease
It depends on the terms of the lease. Generally, it is 30 days.
