Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Landlord Selling House during Lease Agreement

I recently rented a house in Atlanta. It hasnt been a week, and now he tells me he has an offer to sell. There is nothing in the agreement that says he can, but there is also not much that says he cant.

Are there any precedents of something like this known in GA? Is it within his right as property owner to evict tenants for any reason?

Re: Landlord Selling House during Lease Agreement

Your landlord cannot cancel the lease because he/she wants to sell the property unless it is in the lease or you agree to it. You may only be evicted if you breach the lease or the term of the lease expires.
