Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

I am a landlord. My tenant has not paid his rent. I filed for eviction and i have a judgment of eviction and writ of possession. But 2 days before the day Shrif was going to chuck him out, the tenant produces the evidence that he had filed for bankruptcy after we filed in our court for eviction. This is Georgia. What should we do?

It is unlikely you will be able to recover any of the monetary judgment (which probably would have been true even without the bankruptcy). However, since you already obtained the writ of possession, you should be able to proceed with the physical eviction.
