Can lawsuit hinder RE sale?

I have a contract to sale an investment property. Closing is within in days. After entering sale contract, I received unrelated lawsuit one week ago seeking several thousand $$$. The suit askes for listing of all assets. Must i list investment property to be sold next week? I am assuming I can still sell the property. True?

You have been sued - get a lawyer. No one here can (or will) attempt to defend oyur lawsuit based on a couple sentences.
