Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
I have been given a lease renewal for my third year in my apartment. They lowered my rent $192 on the renewal papers that I had to sign and give back to them. I did, and then they sent me a reminder with the same rate more than 20 days later. I called to say that I had already returned the signed copy and they said okay, just come in and sign the lease. But when I looked at the lease it was $208 more than what I had accepted and signed for. I brought that to their attention and they said that the computer was "acting up" that day and the rate was wrong. I have two documents that gave me the rate. Do they have to honor what they quoted me twice?

Since you haven't shown us the wording on what you signed, no one here could possibly answer you. You need to show the paperwork to a lawyer. The answer is in the paperwork.
