Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
Hello. I have a legal question that has to do with property security. I am planning on setting up one security camera at the front of my house in order to get evidence that my neighbor has been driving on my driveway when I'm not at home. Our driveways are separated at the front but once it goes towards the back, the two driveways are connected. My previous neighbors were fine with sharing the driveway, where either one of us could drive up or down which ever driveway was more convenient. Ever since my new neighbors moved in, they have been giving me a hard time about everyone in my household driving up and down their driveway, even though their kids litter and vandalize my property all the time. Recently, I have suspected that they have been driving up and down my driveway and I finally caught them but without evidence I feel that I wouldn't be able to defend myself if I brought it up with the neighborhood committee. Would it be legal for me to install a security camera, that captured everything that is happening on my driveway?

Common sense would be to discuss it with the neighbor, have your family stop using their driveway, and speak to the neighbor when they litter or do whatever on your property. Neighbor disputes are usually a disaster for everyone, and it looks like you are just itching to step it up a notch.
