Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Lien

A mechanics lien is on my property and has been there for two (2) years. Is there a time restraint on liens? How can I have it removed and how do I go about that?

Re: Lien

Assuming it is valid (and you provide no facts to indicate otherwise), it will likely be there until you sell (and it gets paid at closing), or you resolve it with the other party - usually the best option. That is how you get it removed.
