Re: lien on property

I cannot provide legal advice on matters in a jurisdiction in which I am not admitted to practice. I am not admitted to practice in Georgia. The general rule is that you may sell the property subject to the lien. Normally a buyer will not accept such title. The buyer would insist the lien be cleared. Whether you should walk away from the property depends on how much equity you have in it. The foregoing is not legal advice.
