Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
I live on family land with a separate drive etc. The home was built with the intention that I would purchase it but do to circumstances have been unable to do so and now instead of the home being deeded to me at my parents time of death it is to be sold as part of the estate. At such a time can I file for squatters rights and keep my home?

You provide few relevant facts, but living on someone else's property as a renter, or simply with their permission, leads to no "squatters rights" (or other rights) to claim you own the property.
