Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

I live in Georgia (Fulton co). Because of hard times my rent is 30 days past due and my landlord is filing a disrepo sort warrant. I told him I would have two months rent for him soon. How does this warrant work? He says he wants me out by Friday but I have received nothing in writing from anyone. -Lam

You will get notice of a court action and hearing (usually in 2-3 weeks), and assuming it has not been resolved the usual result is the Judge enters a writ of possession. Then the marshalls show up at some point, without notice, and all your property is placed on the street. You don't want to let it get to this point.
