Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

I live in a subdivision with restrictive covenants. I also breed (quietly and respectfully) dogs in my home and have for the past five years. One member on our HOA board wants to stop me in spite of the fact the HOA and the board have known about this for the past five years. Neighborhood sympathies do run in my favor. The restrictions do mention breeding of animals for commercial purpose, but a more recent amendment mentions business use of the home as acceptable as long as the business cannot be heard, smelled, or seen from outside the premesis. Where do I stand?

What the covenants "mention" does not help answer the question. The specific language is what matters. Neighborhood sympathies do not answer the question (though it might be relevant for future elections and amendments).
