Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Long story short, I live in a apartment I moved in here Aug 11,2008. I asked for a copy of my lease and to my discovery it isn't SIGNED, STAMPED, DATED ANYTHING BY management. I signed they did not.. I know this for fact.. And the lease can not be signed now because the entire staff is gone. Fired!! I need to move asap there is a drug rehabilitation center in my bulid.. no one told me. Its mold in my apartment. Management are liar will not fix anything. Please tell me if I found a loop hole. And can leave lease up Aug 10 2010 ..

You have been there 2 years and have two months left, pursuant to a lease you signed. Are you saying that no one exists in the office who has authority to sign leases or to hold up their end of the bargain? Who answers the phone and gave you the copy? Whatever the real reason for you wanting to move, you would be wise to stay and give proper notice. Apparently, the rehab center was not a problem for you if you did not even know it was there (and that is not likely going to be a lease issue anyway, unless the lease prohibits that). Two months won't seem like a long time when compared with the several months you might be fighting them, and the years it might be on your credit report (and apartment complexes normally do report). Finally, the scenario you describe is not usually a "loop hole." As for what they have not fixed, we have no idea what that is.
