Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

My maternal Great grandfather changed the Deed of 15 acres of wooded land to one of his daughters (my Great Aunt) and requested that she keeps the property in the family. My great aunt had the deed put in my name along with my brother's name and requested we keep the property in the family. The property is the estate of my Great Granfathers and is willed to the heirs of his children. My brother and I have been paying the taxes for the past 15 years on the property.

1) How far down the family tree does the will covers and;

2) What would we have to do in regards to other family members before we build on the property? We would retained ownership?

Thanks,

Troubled

Without reading the deed and wills involved (and bear in mind wills can be changed) there is no way to answer you.
