Mechanic Liens

I closed on my new home on 11/30/07. The closing went smoothly with a clear title. About a month ago leading to present time, I received 3 mechanic liens. I contacted the builder, they said they're working on them. I told the builder I want the liens released waiver. It's been close to 2 months since my first lien was issued and I've received nothing from the builder. Are these liens valid? What can I do to resolve the issues?
