Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
My mom is buying a HUD home and is paying in full. She wants me to co-sign with her, so in case anything happens I would get the house and I would not owe or have to pay anything. My husband thinks this is a very bad idea. Is there any financial issues that could arise from it?

Your post makes no sense, because you don't cosign unless there is a loan and you'd be liable on it. Since you apparently don't even know what you're being asked to sign, listen to your husband.
