If my mortgage does not have a prepayment penalty, and no specifice language regarding biweekly payments, or frequency of payments, can the mortgage company refuse to accept biweekly payments?

I won't speculate what else your loan documents may or may not provide about payments (though most clearly refer, in one way or another, to a "monthly payment"), but on a practical common sense level, it is not a good idea to do anything that may screw up your loan or how the payments are applied, even if you think it is the lender's fault.
