Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Would someone be willing to look at my mother in law's deed to her house and tell us if she is entitled to the house or if we have to include it in the probate court documents (her husband passed away last year without a will) She lives in Georgia and from what i understand, the deed has to say something about "right of survivorship" and i can't find that phrase on there.. but maybe it's worded slightly different.

Sure - just see a lawyer in the county who primarily practices real estate & probate.

Lots of lawyers (myself included) do what you asked. You actually need a lawyer for two reasons. One is what you asked. The second is to assist in probate itself. Your mother in law, if she makes the wrong choices in filing will make costly and unfixable mistakes. Depending on details she may need year's support, formal administration, no administration necessary or some combination thereof. Once she makes the wrong choice, no lawyer can fix it.
