Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

my neighbor wants to trim a tree that sits in my front yard and crosses the property line. if he cuts it the way he wishes, it will have no symmetry. i know taste is subjective but the manner in which he has requested to cut the tree back will make it awkward looking to say the least. who has the final say in this matter?

Your neighbor can trim anything he wants from the property line up to the sky (perhaps with some exception for significantly harming the health of the tree). It is best you both cooperate.
