Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Neighborhood Covenents

I have a qeustion about neighborhood covenents and home owners associations. I live in a neighborhood that has covenents. I have a home business. The covenents state that no one is allowed to have a home business but there are at least six other home business in the neighborhood. What can they do to me if I refuse to give up my business? Can they sue me? What if they do not enforce the covenents with the other businesses? What if they do try to enforce the covenents with the other businesses but do not enforce some of the other rules. Please help!

Re: Neighborhood Covenents

They can sue for your breach if you are in violation of the covenants. Enforcing other sections of the covenants or enforcing the same covenant against other neighbors is irrelevant.
