Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
My parents died several yrs ago with no recorded will. The owned 3 acres with 1 moble home in which they lived. After their death, I was benificary to my Dads insurance policy and named the exector of the estate. My name is on the title deed to the home on the property, but my name is not on the 3 acres (propertu without home) What should I do to have my name listed on the property deed along with the home, which my name is listed?

If I'm understanding your question, you have title to the mobile home, but you do not know how to get the land in which the mobile home rests on in your name. Some documents (including your parent's deed to the property) would need to be reviewed and a few documents prepared based on a little investigating and that's it. You may have to spend a few buck filing the documents and paying a lawyer to prepare them for you. I highly recommend that you consult a Georgia probate or real estate lawyer to do this as quickly and efficiently as possible. Feel free to contract me directly at [email protected]
