Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

We have been paying taxes on a piece of property for the last 15 years. Prior to that my grandmother paid the taxes on it. We recently discovered while trying to cut timber on the land that it was deeded to two of her great nephews and we would have to get in touch with them which is proving difficult. What should we do?

You need to hire a lawyer. I don't know why you would have paid taxes without acquiring property through a lawyer by deed, and you may just be out the money. In some cases, you may have rights and should do what should have been done bv you 15 years ago - see a lawyer.
