Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

I had a personal item stolen from me. My insurance company reimbursed me for the replacement cost of the item after I purchased a new one. I have since located the original item in another state. Is it still legally my property, or did the act of replacing it change that status?

You have a duty to advise the insurer, who is entitled to the item they paid for.
