Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Picture of property used without consent

Is it legal for a person to use a picture of another person's residence in a public presentation, adding derrogatory commentary, without the owner's consent? If it is not legal, what legal recourse can be taken against this person?

Re: Picture of property used without consent

While it is not generally illegal to take pictures of houses from public property, it depends on how you use those pictures that would determine if the house owner has any legal recourse. For example, in your posting, there may be a potential claim for slander/libel due to the derogatory comments.
