Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Property inheritance

About 10 years ago, my mother's aunt died. She had around 100 acres and left it to four nieces/nephews (including my mother). She did not divide the property in her will but stated everyone would have to agree before anything was done with the property. Some want their part of the land to keep and others want to sell. So, for 10 years it has sat in this dispute. My mother would like her part of the land to build a house on. Is there anything that can be done? Thanks.

Re: Property inheritance

You could file a Partition Action if you can't get them to agree to amicably divide the property.
