Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
property title
Mother built house with cash on son-in-law's land to bequeath to her daughter (his wife). Son-in-law promised to deed the land (five acres). He has the land in his name, the insurance policy in his name. What is her recourse? It is apparent his intent was to keep it in his name and take advantage of her trust.

Contracts regarding real estate must be in writing. Consult with a local attorney.
