How do I remove a name from the title when that person is deceased?

You can't remove a person's name from the title just because that person is dead. The now-deceased at one point in time owned an interest in the property and no one can change that. However, transferring that person's interest in the property is relatively simple, but there are different approaches for different situations. Consult with a local attorney.
