Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
Purchase of a home and repairs not completed
My wife and I recently purchased a home, we hired an inspector to look at the home before we closed. Come to find out many of the repairs we requested (both sides signed a repair contract for all the noted discrepancies) were not completed. My question is how long do I have to dispute these repairs and what can I do to get the seller to pay for them.

Re: Purchase of a home and repairs not completed
You are probably well within the statute of limitations, but you should take action ASAP. If the seller won't make the repairs (which you may not want them to do anyway), then you can make them yourself and demand reimbursement from the seller for the reasonable costs. That will probably mean filing a lawsuit or at least having an attorney send a demand letter.
