quit claim deed
how can I get a name off my deed?
The deed is in my wife and myselfs name and our son is on he deed.
we want to get him off. Can we do this without a lawyer. How?

You do not "take someone off a deed." Another deed is usually necessary, signed by the current title owners (including your son). Since you provided no other details, you need to see a lawyer to prepare the documents and review and problems that could arise.
