Real Estate in Divorce

My husband and I are going through a divorce. He left me and moved out of the house over a year ago. Although, the mortgage and title are only in his name, I have been paying the mortgage, with no written agreement. I want to move out, because I cannot afford paying his mortgage. Am I liable for the house?

Based on what you state, no. However, by this time you should have gotten a court order addressing this issue. If the divorce is not final and looks like it might linger for a while, consider requesting a temporary hearing.
