How do I clear a boundry dispute?

Agree if you can. Otherwise, get a court order that declares the true boundary - the cost to litigate should be between $10 - $20K. That is why you should agree on a boundary and create an agreement (that will be recorded) between the two owners.

Obviously, there ae lawyers who will take a fee. As noted in the first response, it is much, much better to work it out. If that is not possible, be sure you retain a real estate lawyer and not a lawyer who offers services in any number of unrelated areas. If you have to pay, get an expert. The penalty for not dong so may be a title problem down the road.
