Real Estate Sale - Non-Disclosure
I bought a house in June of 2001, the seller said there were no issues with drainage. Since we have moved in, anytime that it rains heavily, the garage fills up with water. The drainage pipe has risen to the ground, and there is black mold in the garage as a result of the issue. Do I have any recourse? I've spoken to a few contractors and to fix the issue, the foundation has to be exposed for the issue to be resolved.

The seller may be liable for the damages if the drainage problem was a latent defect of which the seller was aware, but failed to dosclose to you. You may seek damages or try and get the contract rescinded.
